Blame recession on 1999 constitution, not Buhari’s APC says Akande

Former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and elder statesman, Chief Bisi Akande, has said that the current economic recession rocking the country should not be blamed on President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressives Congress, APC, government but on the 1999 constitution.
But on a second thought,  do we really have to agree with this statement. It's is important that we understand the constitution because if we are to totally agree with this statement, then it's okay to believe that the 'Recession' we are faced with now in this regime  was fore seen, written and coded in the 1999 constitution and so therefore, we are stucked because reviewing and amending to finding good solution is going to take ages . So it's simple... Blame it on the constitution.
