Trump's tirade: ‘Pak viewpoint should also be delivered to US allies’

ISLAMABAD: The Senate Committee on Whole on Tuesday prepared a rough draft of recommendations on foreign policy guidelines, which will be presented in the Senate on Wednesday for deliberations and approval.
Senators came hard again on US President Donald Trump for his tirade against Pakistan without taking into account its great sacrifices, both in men and material. They said that the viewpoint of Pakistan should also be delivered to the allies of the US.
“The rough draft of recommendations is ready and now what is to be done is to mainly fine-tune the language of the document, prior to its approval from the Upper House of Parliament,” a source told this correspondent.

The committee had its sitting again in the Parliament House to give final touches to the document. It was an in-camera session, as members tossed the proposals on how to make the foreign policy more vibrant, reflecting ground realities. He explained the draft recommendations were concrete and doable steps had been proposed, keeping in view interests and aspirations of the people of Pakistan.
