Emeka Ike Dropped As AGN President

There is a new sheriff in town just in case you don’t know as Nollywood actor Emeka Ike has been unseated as the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria at a recently staged election.
The actor who in the last four years steered the affairs of the Actors Guild riddled with a deluge of problems garnered 14 votes as against his opponent, Emeka Rollas, who had 42 votes to emerge as the new leader of the powerful position.
According to reports, the election was staged after a peace agreement was reached between Emeka Ike and former AGN President Ibinabo Fiberesima at the 2017 Peace and Reconciliation Conference which was staged in Enugu.
Emeka Ike’s defeat is coming barely a week after the actor, in an interview suggested that he could accept his ex-wife Suzanne Emma back if she confesses.
The pair seized to be husband and wife following the examination of a petition Emma filed before the Lagos court on the 13th of July 2015 which was ruled upon six months ago by a three-man panel of judges chaired by Chief Awo Awosola while others included Kehinde Jacob Olayinka and Opeyemi Olanrewaju, the only female on the list.
