Bolt To Miss Man Utd Charity Match Due To Injury

Athletics legend, Usain Bolt, will not be able to play in Manchester United Legends’ game against Barcelona due to injury.
The fixture designed to raise money for the Manchester United Foundation is scheduled for September 2 at Old Trafford.
30-year-old Bolt, who is a lifelong United fan, had been lined up to play in the game, but has now been ruled out after he suffered a hamstring injury at the world athletics championship.

The Jamaican pulled up injured when he ran the final leg of the 4x100m relay at the championships in London last Saturday, as he retires from sprinting with 11 world titles and 8 Olympic golds.
He has had further scans on the injury, which showed the damage to be worse than anticipated.

Former Red Devils expected to take part at the charity game include, Edwin van der Sar, Paul Scholes, Denis Irwin, Dwight Yorke, Phil Neville, Ronny Johnsen, Louis Saha, among others.—RipplesNigeria
